Hiding Rows in the Investment Model

Users can hide specific rows within the investment model to simplify the view and focus on the most relevant data. This is especially helpful for hiding supporting or intermediate calculations that don’t need to be seen in the main workspace.

Hidden rows are still part of the model and will affect calculations, they are simply not displayed in the interface.

When to hide rows

Hiding rows is useful when:

  • A row contains helper calculations for other visible rows.

  • You want to reduce visual clutter in the model.

How to hide a row

To hide a row, you need to modify the caption of the cash flor model row.

Steps

  1. Locate the row in the model sheet you wish to hide.

  2. In the Caption, add the text hidden row at the beginning.

    • (Example) hidden row Gross margin helper

  3. Save your changes.

  4. Reload the project to apply the changes.

After reloading, the row will no longer be visible in the investment model interface.
