New alternative forms and properties in Capex Strategy

The new forms system ensures all the critical information needed for thorough decision-making is captured efficiently.   • Capture critical data such as alternative names, backgrounds, investment categories, project managers, and more.

• Comprehensive Property Support:

  • Supports various property types, including numerical, textual, drop-downs, and date formats.

  • Properties feature customizable names and descriptions ensuring precision and relevance.

• Customizable Forms for Every Scenario:

  • The new form builder allows you to create tailored forms, choosing from your created properties.

  • Forms can range from simple layouts to detailed configurations with hundreds of properties, depending on your organization’s needs.

• Efficient Form Management:

  • Organize forms into Form Sets for better structure in which units and alternative use specific forms.

  • Easily add, remove, reorder, duplicate, or delete components to align with project requirements.

Layout & report series improvements

Materials are now presented in a simplified and consistent manner to simplify cash flow model layouts and report series set-up. This improvement reduces the number of rows, making material selections clearer and easier to navigate.

• Material Blocks:

  • All materials are now aggregated into a single block in layouts and report series, simplifying the presentation and reducing redundancy.

• List Material Rows:

  • Replicable rows for list materials now appear as a single row in layouts and report series, ensuring a cleaner, more organized view.

This enhancement ensures a unified and consistent way to view material blocks and list materials. It reduces complexity and improves usability when working with layouts and report series. It also provides a more streamlined workflow, helping users focus on what matters most.

Improved clarity in Strategic Alternative creation & edit popup

The Strategic Building Blocks (SBBs) list in the Strategic Alternative (SA) creation and edit popup has been optimized for clarity and usability. Irrelevant deactivated SBBs are now hidden, making the editing process more intuitive and streamlined.

What’s Changed:

• For New SAs: Only active SBBs appear in the list when creating a new SA.

• For Editing Existing SAs: Deactivated SBBs are excluded unless they are actively linked to the SA being edited.

This improvement eliminates unnecessary clutter, ensuring you only see relevant and usable SBBs, reducing confusion, and enhancing efficiency.

Readable file names in exports

The file names of the exported report are now clear and easy to understand. Instead of random hash values, file names now include relevant details such as the report name, data type, and date, making them more user-friendly and organized.

What’s Changed:
For presentations and reports the following improvements have been made to exported report file names:

• Sensitivity Summary Report:
  File names now follow the format: [Report Name] [Date].
  Example: Sensitivity Summary 2024-12-14.

• Alternative Delta Report:
  File names now follow the format: [Report Name], [Variable Name] [Date].
  Example: Alternative Delta, EBITDA 2024-12-14.

• Alternative Table Report:
  File names now follow the format: [Report Name], [Table Name] [Date].
  Example: Alternative Table, Volume Produced 2024-12-14.

This enhancement ensures that exported files are named logically, helping users quickly identify and organize their reports.

Model-building improvements

This release includes several enhancements to improve your model-building experience:

• Batch delete rows: You can now delete multiple rows at once, making bulk cleanup faster and more efficient.

• View affected rows before deletion: When deleting a specific row, you’ll now see which other rows will be affected, helping you understand the impact and take action if needed.

• Period delta enhancements: Improved configuration options and clearer visualisation of period deltas for better control and readability.

• Better static and replicable row referencing: It's now easier and more reliable to reference static and replicable rows in your models.
