Navigation and Custom Views
Custom views navigation allows you to access and organize request lists in a way that reflects your organization’s Capex process.
Instead of using fixed tabs, request data is accessed through custom views in a single navigation panel.
This makes it easier to find relevant requests and reduces the need for manual filtering.
When to use custom views
Custom views are useful when:
Different roles need different request lists
Your approval process includes multiple stages
You work with large datasets
You want faster access to relevant data
What is a custom view
A custom view is a predefined configuration of a request grid.
Each custom view opens one of the following:
Power Mode – a detailed grid for analyzing and managing requests
Investment Plan – a timeline-based view for planning and tracking expenditures
Each view includes:
Default filters
Default sorting
Default layout
A custom view is not only a navigation item. It defines how request data is displayed when opened.
Default and personal configuration
Each custom view has two levels of configuration:
Default configuration defined by a Superuser
Personal configuration saved per user
Users can:
Adjust filters
Change layout
Modify sorting
Personal changes do not affect other users.
You can always restore the view to its default configuration.
Navigation panel
All custom views are available in a single navigation panel.
The panel includes:
Dashboard
Custom views
Sections (if configured)
Users can:
Open views
Expand or collapse sections
Resize the navigation panel
Reorder Custom views and sections
Sections in navigation
