Create and manage custom views

Superusers can create and manage custom views to define how request data is displayed for all users.

Each custom view represents a predefined configuration of a grid, including filters, layout, and sorting.

This allows organizations to align Weissr with their actual Capex process.

Create a custom view

To create a new custom view:

  1. Go to Capex Management

  2. In the navigation panel, click Add new

  3. Select View

  4. Choose a view type:

    • Power Mode

    • Investment Plan

  5. Define:

    • Filters

    • Sorting

    • Layout (optional)

  6. Enter a name (maximum 60 characters)

  7. Save

The new view appears in the navigation panel and is available to all users.

Long names are truncated in the navigation panel.

Define default configuration

When creating or editing a view, you define its default configuration.

This includes:

  • Filters

  • Sorting

  • Layout

  • View type (Power Mode or Investment Plan)

Any settings not defined will use system defaults.

Edit a custom view

To update an existing view:

  1. Open the view

  2. Update filters, sorting, or layout

  3. Save changes

Changes are applied to all users who have not customized the view.

Users who have personalized the view will keep their own configuration.

Reorder views

Superusers can change the order of views in the navigation panel.

  • Drag and drop views to reorder

This helps prioritize the most important views.

Delete a custom view

To delete a view:

  1. Open navigation configuration

  2. Select the view

  3. Delete

Deleted views cannot be restored.

If all views are removed, only the Dashboard remains visible.

Create views inside sections

If sections are used:

  • New views can be created directly inside a section

  • Existing views can be moved into sections

How views behave for users

For each custom view:

  • The Superuser defines the default setup

  • Users can customize the view for their own use

Users can:

  • Change filters

  • Adjust layout

  • Modify sorting

Personal changes are saved per user and per view.

Users can always restore the default configuration.

Difference from saved filters

Custom views are different from favorite filters.

  • Favorite filters store only filter conditions

  • Custom views define the full grid configuration

Custom views provide a complete working setup, not just filtering.
