Restore default view settings

Weissr allows you to customize views to match your workflow. If needed, you can restore a view back to its default configuration.

This helps you quickly recover from unwanted changes and return to a clean, standardized setup.

Default settings are defined by a Superuser when the view is created

What can be reset

Restoring defaults resets the current view to its original configuration.

This includes:

  • Filters and sorting

  • Visible fields and layouts

  • Column order and widths

  • Grouping

  • Investment Plan settings (outlay years and resolution)

  • Grid settings (such as totals or word wrap)

The view will match the default setup defined for that navigation element.

Restore defaults in Power Mode

To restore a Power Mode view:

  1. Click Restore defaults

  2. Confirm the action

The grid resets to the default configuration.

This removes all your personal changes in that view.

Reset filters and sorting

You can reset only filters and sorting without affecting the rest of the view.

To reset filters:

  • Click Reset next to the search bar

Filters and sorting are cleared, while layout and columns remain unchanged.

Restore defaults in Investment Plan

To restore Investment Plan settings:

  • Click Reset in the Investment Plan toolbar

This resets:

  • Selected outlay years

  • Resolution settings

  • Column widths

Other settings such as layouts and fields are not affected by this action.

How reset works with custom views

  • Each custom view has its own default configuration

  • Reset applies only to the currently open view

  • Your changes do not affect other users

This allows safe personalization without impacting shared setups.

When to use restore defaults

Use restore defaults when:

  • The view becomes difficult to navigate

  • Filters or layout no longer make sense

  • You want to return to the standard setup
