How to add a site or sub-industry
You would like to add a site or another sub-industry to a site, here's how
Make sure to be in the Base Alternative/Strategic Building Block/Strategic Alternative → Scope tab.
To create a new Site/Sub-industry, click on the + located next to the top of the list of Sites in the Scope grid. The + for sub-industries is only visible after you expand the Site that the sub-industry should be located under.
Keep filling information on the current line by pressing Tab to move easily from one cell to another, or by double-clicking in each cell individually.
To validate a site and be able to save it, you have to fill in at least the Site Name, Short Name, Country, and Currency. When creating a sub-industry, only the Machine sub-industry/Material sub-industry field is required.
If the Country and/or Currency you would like to enter are not available in the dropdown menus, you should contact your Weissr administrator as it would require access to specific parts of the software.
The other columns, even if not required per se, are still important to complete for the accuracy of the model, as certain numbers are supposed to rely on the WACC, Tax Rate, Depreciation Years or Small Capex indicated. The last two columns CS and CM are important for you to tick whether you want the site in question to appear in the Capex Strategy and/or Capex Management modules of Weissr.
Once you're done filling information for the new site or sub-industry, click Enter.
